So much for having all three kids sleeping at the same time. They're normally pretty good, but my eldest daughter sang so loudly that she woke up her brother who sleeps in the bottom bunk of their room.
So Ashton is now hangin' out with me, playing with his train set (bribe toy) as I watch Hilary Swank in 'P.S. I love you'. Here in the basement, their not allowed to watch cartoons unless its something in the 'On Demand' channel and I feel like watching it with them... Otherwise, they're stuck watching FoodTV, TLC or HGTV. The cartoon channels are a 'treat' and only watched if my hubby flips it on. Yeah, I guess I'm mean, but they're not really complaining.
So I'm off for a year, meaning I have 1 whole year to find a new job. My current job is nice - allows me to work from home while Auntie D takes care of the kids - but I need a raise. I'm overworked and underpaid... plus, I need a career challenge. I'm sure a lot of people think I'm nuts for wanting me to leave the house to work, especially now that I have kids, but I've been working from home for 6 years now... And I'm starting to feel the cabin fever. We'll see what life throws at me.
